Mead HS Bands Flowchart 2020-2021
1. Students should enroll in one of the following Fall courses: Marching Band, Fall Concert Band.
2. Students should enroll in one of the following Spring courses: Spring Concert Band, Symphonic Band*.
3. In addition, students can choose to enroll in one of our year long jazz courses: Advanced Jazz Band* or Intermediate Jazz Band,
4. Enrollment in Symphonic Band* and Advanced Jazz Band* requires an audition (audition materials on the band website homepage).
5. Unified Percussion Ensemble* requires director approval (email Mr. Lemons).
6. Color Guard is a Fall only course that rehearses and performs both with and without the Marching Band.
7. Drumset is a semester course offered in both the Fall and Spring. It is a non-performance course focused on drumset fundamentals.
